I am so glad I decided to take the Documentary Masterclass at The Edit Center. I was looking for a refresher on some technical skills, but I also wanted to troubleshoot some specific issues that had come up in the field. And the instructors at The Edit Center were perfect for this. They are all incredible resources and are such talented shooters and editors, that all of my questions were used as jumping off points for discussions about technique that I now constantly think about when I am out shooting. Some of us had video experience going into the class, while others did not, but we all definitely got a ton out of the class. It is definitely worth the time and money, at the very least for access to these real documentary masters who have so much knowledge to share. I wish the course had been more than a week!
