The class allowed me to acquire the technical and soft skills necessary to make a documentary at a progressive and logical pace. With the Edit Center, I found instructors who were not only tangibly passionate about this storytelling medium, but who were also able to teach it with great patience and professionalism. I ultimately waited a year before putting the skills I learned at the workshop to practice, but the production aspect of my short film turned out smoother than expected in large part due to my training here.
