A filmmaking course taught by editors? Yes, please. Anyone who has attempted to make a documentary or narrative film probably knows the pitfalls of trying to edit material at the end. If only you could shoot useful footage that reveals, creates, and strengthens the narrative flow. Well, the approach of this Edit Center course will help you do that. By working in small teams you will learn, through trial by fire, the elements necessary to fashion a story that will be both dynamic and informative. The method will create an outline that is useful regardless of the form of your storytelling.
I'm working on several projects in VR and find myself referring back to the notes I took in class.
The course was so good, I'm considering taking a refresher.
For any filmmaker that wants to strengthen their storytelling skills, I wholeheartedly recommend this course.
