Class Films Receive James Beard Award and Honor from Emmys

A Matter of Taste: Serving Up Paul Liebrant, which was a 2009 Edit Center class film was awarded a 2012 James Beard Foundation Broadcast Media Award for Best Special/Documentary. Directed by Sally Rowe, the film was edited by TEC alum Amy Foote and was produced by Edit Center founder and instructor Alan Oxman and TEC alum Rachel Mills. Also receiving accolades is 2010 class film Hot Coffee. Edited by TEC alum Cindy Lee (No End In Sight, Una Noche), the film received an Academy of Television Arts and Science TV Cares Award.
