Gideon's Army, edited by TEC Alum Matthew Hamachek (If a Tree Falls, Racing Dreams) premieres today on HBO. Matthew received the Editing Award for his work on the film at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, where it had its world premiere in January. Gideon's Army follows three young, committed Public Defenders through their staggering caseloads, low pay, and long hours in a job that the vast majority of people give up after only a few years.
