TEC Alum Film "Sidemen: Long Road To Glory" to Premiere at Sunshine Cinema
Sidemen: Long Road To Glory, edited by TEC alum Bo Mehrad, will have it's theatrical release on August 18th at Sunshine Cinema in NYC, with additional screenings across the country through September.
Variety says, “Sidemen is an exceptionally entertaining and captivating tribute to the men and their music."

Alumni film to screen at HRW festival
Home Truth, edited by TEC alum Becky Laks, will have screenings on June 11th and 12th in NYC.
"Shot over the course of nine years, Home Truth chronicles one family’s incredible pursuit of justice, shedding light on how our society responds to domestic violence and how the trauma from domestic violence can linger through generations."

Walking Out

Announcing our narrative teacher for our June/July session!
We are thrilled to announce that Keith Fraase will be teaching the narrative section of our June/July 2017 Six-Week class!
Keith Fraase began his editing career in Austin, TX, collaborating alongside director Terrence Malick as Artistic Consultant on Malick’s 2011 Palme d’Or winner The Tree of Life, then as lead editor for Malick’s next four films To The Wonder, Knight of Cups, and Song to Song, as well as the IMAX documentary, Voyage of Time. Keith has two films releasing later this year: Long Strange Trip, the acclaimed 4-hour documentary chronicle of the band The Grateful Dead, directed by Amir Bar-Lev and produced by Martin Scorsese; and Chappaquddick, a narrative film based on the life of Ted Kennedy, directed by John Curran.

We are very excited to announce that Mary Manhardt will be teaching the documentary section of our June/July 2017 Six-Week class!
Mary Manhardt is a documentary film editor and consultant, specializing in verite. Her work has screened at festivals including Sundance, the New York Film Festival, Hot Docs, SXSW, Tribeca and IDFA, and appeared on HBO, PBS, MTV and ABC and Netflix. Among her credits: The Farm; The Execution of Wanda Jean; Girlhood; Farmingville; Street Fight; American Teen; Racing Dreams; Monica & David; Wham! Bam! Islam!; A Son's Sacrifice; Bronx Princess; Camp Victory, Afghanistan; Pelotero; American Promise; Medora; The Babushkas of Chernobyl and Tig. She co-edited and consulted on "Making a Murderer", the 10 part doc series for Netflix, which won 4 Primetime Emmy Awards.
Mary won an Emmy in 1999 for Picture Editing for The Farm, and was nominated again in 2015 for American Promise.
