This two-day program is designed for those who have mastered basic editing skills and want to create customized effects in Final Cut Pro 5. Topics include keyframe animation, multiple layers, Alpha types, split screens, nesting, masks and mattes, keying, composite modes and travel mattes. Tips, tricks and techniques are explored for working with effects and minimizing render time.

The class is taught by an Apple-certified Final Cut Pro trainer who is also a working editor. It includes hands-on editing time as well as lectures and demonstrations. There is a maximum of seven people in each class, and each student works on their own editing system. Students also receive the Apple Pro Training Series course book, Final Cut Pro 5: Editing Professional Video.

Final Cut Pro 210 is designed for Final Cut Pro users who understand the basic editing tools of Final Cut Pro 5 and are looking to master advanced graphics and effects.
