FCP 7 Level 1 Certification is a half-day session for experienced Final Cut Pro users who wish to become recognized by Apple as Apple-Certified Pros. As an Apple-Certified Pro, you will have the ability to differentiate yourself to employers and colleagues as a highly skilled user of this professional application. You will receive a certificate from Apple distinguishing you as an Apple-Certified Pro, and you will have the right to use the Apple-Certified Pro logo.

The session includes question-and-answer time with an Apple-Certified Final Cut Pro Trainer, as well as the Apple-Certified Final Cut Pro 7 Level 1 End User Exam, an online, 70-question, multiple-choice exam. Students should be well-versed in Final Cut Pro 7 and prepared with questions for the test review session.

This session is designed for Final Cut Pro users who wish to take the Apple Certified Final Cut Pro 7 Level 1 End User Exam independent of a longer course.

The course cost is $300.

FCP 200 or the Six Week Art of Editing Course.
Experienced Final Cut Pro users who have worked with all aspects of Final Cut Pro 7 are also eligible to take the exam.

Classes usually take place on Sundays, 10:00 am to 1:30 pm.

Certification By Appointment

The FCP 7 Level 1 Certification, and any other ProApps or IT Apple certification test, can also be taken by calling our center and making an appointment. Depending on scheduling and class space, we can usually accomodate test-takers within one week of their inquiry. There would be no question-and-answer time with a trainer prior to taking the test.

The testing cost is $150.

There is a 50% discount for students who have taken the Six Week Art of Editing Course at The Edit Center within one year of the test date.
